<div dir="ltr">Hi Steve,<div><br></div><div>I tried two different SD cards, both worked, so maybe I was lucky. Anyway, are you sure, you have MBR partition table + the first (boot) partition starts at 4096?</div><div class="gmail_extra"><br><div class="gmail_quote">2017-06-14 18:49 GMT+02:00 Steve McIntyre <span dir="ltr"><<a href="mailto:steve@einval.com" target="_blank">steve@einval.com</a>></span>:<br><blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="margin:0 0 0 .8ex;border-left:1px #ccc solid;padding-left:1ex">Hey guys,<br>
<br>
I'm sstill stumped here with getting my Macchiato to boot off SD. I've<br>
tried lots of different cards and can't find anything that will<br>
work. The *only* card that I've seen work is the unlabelled/unknown<br>
card that Ard brought with him to Cambridge last month. Nothing else<br>
even comes close to booting on my board, which makes it really<br>
difficult to get much further with doing anything on my machine.<br>
<br>
If it wasn't for this *one* SD card working fine first time, I'd be<br>
tempted to say my machine had a hardware fault. I've tried multiple<br>
Sandisk cards from 1GB up to 64GB, Samsung 32G, Toshiba 32G, Kingston<br>
8G and up, Intenso 4G. I'm waiting on another Kingston 4G card to land<br>
tomorrow, to try that too. It's very frustrating. :-(<br>
<br>
I'm assuming failure logs are not interesting. I can supply them if<br>
desired - just ask.<br></blockquote><div><br></div><div>Yes, please show the logs.</div><div><br></div><div>Best regards,</div><div>Marcin</div><div> </div><blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="margin:0 0 0 .8ex;border-left:1px #ccc solid;padding-left:1ex">
<br>
In the meantime, I can see that there's a fallback option to boot via<br>
UART. Is there any documentation about what's needed to use that<br>
anywhere?<br>
