Hey,

I'm sending an email I'd composed with our requests to SRCF. Please let me
know what should be changed to not sound totally ridiculous. I feel like
I'm missing a lot of jargon to sound reasonably convincing.

If this is good enough I'll send this and we'll see what happens next.

Dear Edwin,

having gathered information it looks like the best way out of this is to
move the page to SRCF as this is a Society matter. Current setup is
somewhat unusual in that we use very little bandwidth and computational
resources in comparison to disk space. To move without changing anything
we'd need 80GB disk space and our download/upload is less than 100GB yearly
and most of it during summer.

For everything to work the same as it used to we'd need a container with

mercurial and/or git (preferably gitlab)
rsync
bins
fonts-freefont-ttf
locales
survex

and

pip install

Django==1.7.11
django-registration==2.1.2
mysql
django-imagekit
Image
django-tinymce==2.7.0
smartencoding

Also apache 2.4 and mysql

Please tell me how much of this is possible and we'd try to adjust
accordingly.

Best wishes,
Radost Waszkiewicz
