OK, am uploading all video except the voluminous derig and the canyoning
(strubklamm) videos from 2012.
I have now merged video2/ into video/.
Testing bolts to destruction video in /video/2011/JessStirrups/ was
duplicated in both photos/ and video. Now only in video/.
So what remains (when it finishes) on my laptop and not uploaded are those
two big videos in /video-big/ and the raw big photos in /photos-raw/ .
I could cut a DVD or two with these.
There are several >50MB videos which perhaps should have the same treatment
eventually, but as Wookey says, the dross in the photos/ folders needs
gardening first.
I had already cut the raw files down to width 1024 before I read Wookey's
email, so if we want more resolution I will re-run the conversion. But
about a quarter are irretrievably under- or over-exposed anyway so culling
is required first. Some exposure problems can be fixed manually - but there
are 360 photos of this type.
I haven't touched the .CR2 and .ORF raw files which are scattered about, but
there's only a few of them.
That's it for today. I have to go to London.
