CORRECTION:

My custom declare -r RAN_POST_MOVE=1 appears to be being redefined as null on 
each pass, instead of my stated previously statement that it was being cleared 
on only the last pass. 

Shrugs.  Well, I've hacked something in at my end (albeit, really half-assed); 
and have failed to accomplish implementing this one as a patch. :-/
