[Abcde-users] usepipes broken?

I have not ever really looked at using abcde with pipes but I tested
it with mpc:

abcde -o mpc -P

using the git abcde and found some pieces of Musepack encoding missing
from the pipes settings. Easily fixed but then I tested all of the
safe encoders for pipes and none seems to be working.

Is usepipes broken or am I missing something really obvious?
