[Macchiato] disabling SFPs

Hello,

I bought my MACCHIATObin Single Shot a couple months ago. Finally I have
some time to set it up now.

I've got Arch Linux installed on the eMMC. As I'm configuring the system
questions arise. I hope this is the right forum to look for answers.

For startes I'm trying to turn off things I'm not using. How do I go
about doing that for SFP's? On my x86 machines I would run 'echo 1 >
/sys/class/net/$DEVICE/device/remove'. No such file in eg.
/sys/class/net/eth1/device/ though. Could you suggest some other way?
